The App That Will Pay You To Answer Trivia Questions

Back in 2018, Swagbucks first launched their Daily Trivia app, an app where you can earn SB (the sites currency) for answering trivia questions right. Cool right!

They have since updated it to feature two games you can play daily to earn SBs. Any SB that you earn get added automatically to your Swagbucks balance. Which you can then redeem for a range of vouchers – like a £1 Amazon voucher which is currently 100SB or a £5 PayPal voucher for 625SB.

The SB Daily Trivia app has two games you can play each day…

Daily Trivia Challenge

This game refreshes daily and gives you the chance to earn up to 20SB by answering 10 trivia questions. The more questions you answer correctly, the more SB you will earn. The questions are multiple choice so even if you have no clue of the answer, you still have a chance to get it right. Plus if you get one wrong, you don’t get eliminated like on the second game. Most days you can earn 10SB if you get all 10 questions right but some days the rewards are doubled so you could earn up to 20SB for getting them all right.

Now, I’ve been playing this daily for a few months and sporadically since it was introduced and I’ve never gotten all ten right. The closest I’ve got is 9 correct and that felt like a massive achievement. Most days I get around 6 questions right which equates to 2SB.

Daily Trivia Live

Everyday at 1am (GMT +1) the app hosts Daily Trivia Live. This is a live stream that you can join and like on the Daily Trivia Challenge, you answer 10 questions. Answer all 10 questions right and you win a share of the prize pot. The prize pot is currently 1000SB (~$1000). So in theory if you are the only person who gets all 10 questions correct, you’ll win the whole pot. However, in my experience around 6-10,000 people get to the final round so you’ll more than likely walk away with pennies rather than pounds. But like we always say, every penny helps and this is a fun way to make a couple extra quid each month and have fun.

The only downside to the live game is that it is played at 6pm EDT, so 1am in the UK. I don’t know about you, but 9 times out of 10 I’m fast asleep by this point. So I don’t get to tune in as much as I’d like. The most I’ve ever won playing was 56SB!

Now, this app is obviously not going to make you rich but the pennies do eventually turn into pounds and over a year you could cash out a few vouchers from this app alone.
