How I Made £577.03 From My June Side Hustles!

June was a tough month to find time for side hustles as it was my first month back at camp. Working at a summer camp is a full on 24/7 job so the fact that I was able to still side hustle over £500 is INSANE to me! Spoiler alert – July did not go so well 😅

Heads up! In my side hustle earnings reports I count every penny earned in the month of June, not necessarily money that has hit my account. Let’s take freelancing as an example: the total you see in this post is the hours I worked in June but I probably won’t see this money until July as I invoice my hours at the end of the month. Ok let’s break down how I made £577.03 from my June side hustles…

Sharing Data = £2

I use an app called Amazon Shopper Panel to share my ad data. As a thank you, Amazon credits my account with £2 each month. This is one of my only truly passive income streams and I genuinely forget about it most of the time. Then I’m always pleasantly surprised with my Amazon balance when I go on there to buy a new book.

Surveys = £4.08

I did a couple of surveys in the month of June but not many. They are one of the least profitable things I do in terms of time investment so having little time to spare this month meant almost no time to dedicate to surveys.

Cashback = £7.70

When I’m outside of the UK, I like to use my Chase card for all spending as it’s fee-free and you get 1% cashback on most purchases. I made £3.01 from this and then £4.69 in cashback from an insurance offer through TopCashback.

Bank Interest = £20.37

Even better than the credit boost from Amazon Shopper Panel, getting the bank interest notifications on the 1st of the month are the best! I love earning passive income from just parking my money in certain accounts.

LISA bonus = £46.50

I’m getting closer and closer each month to maxing out my LISA for the 24/25 tax year. The 25% bonus makes it my absolutely favourite account and I know future me will be super thankful I’m putting the effort in now.

Freelancing = £225

The one thing I tried to make time for as consistently as I could was for my freelance work. I did a pretty good job of this in June and raked up £225 worth of billable work.

The Frugal Explorer = £271.38

Another thing that majorly slipped during June was this blog and it’s attached socials. I thought I would be able to keep up with the workload this summer but I quickly let go of that thought. Crazy happy with the total made this month as I really didn’t spend much time on it at all. Most of this income was made from referrals so massive thank you to anyone who uses any of my referral links!!

June Total = £577.03

Crazy to think that this is now considered a low side hustle month for me, as just last year this amount would’ve been soooo exciting! Still very happy with the total.

How did your side hustles go in June? I’d love to hear all about it!
