8 Apps I Use To Make Money Every Month

Yes, I am that side hustle nerd who has a folder on her phone full of apps that I make money off. From survey apps to daily trivia, from games to data sharing – these apps bring in a little extra each and every month with minimal effort. I love testing out these money making apps and seeing how I can best take advantage of them. But today I thought I’d share the 8 money making apps I regularly use to make a little extra income.

SB Daily Trivia

Because I’m a little nerd this is one of my favourite side hustle apps. It’s an app from the side hustle site Swagbucks and you can earn SB (Swagbucks currency) by answering trivia questions correctly. You can earn up to 10SB each day from the Trivia Challenge but if you play the Live Challenge you could win a share of the $1000 prize pot.

EverUp

This used to be my go to rewards savings account and was the place I chose to keep my gap year fund. But it has since been announced that you can no longer open a cash account with them so I have moved the app to my side hustle collection as you can still play the games and earn gift cards. They recently did a 10 million coin drop where every account got a bonus 10 million coins. I played through all of these coins and made £1.57 which I cashed out as an Amazon gift card.

Eureka/Survey Spin/Survey Pop

I club these three together because they are literally the same app but with a different name and colour palette. Whilst I don’t think they are the best survey sites I’ve ever used, I keep them around because they have a daily poll. That’s just easy money. It takes seconds to answer all three polls each morning, bonus that they are literally the same question!

WeAre8

This is an app that pays you to watch ads. Yep, you read that right. Whilst it’s only pennies, you can get paid real cash to watch ads and answer a couple questions. I like to check this app daily to see if I have any ads to watch. Whilst you only get pennies, they do add up and I’ve made over £5 since I started using this app more frequently towards the end of last year.

Tester Buddy

I’m still on the fence about this app because I’ve been waiting over a month for a payout I requested. I downloaded it after seeing it on instagram and had a great time using it for the first few days. Completing multiple offers and receiving two payouts. But then when I completed a big offer with a £100 reward, I have had trouble receiving the payout. I haven’t used it since and don’t think I will until I receive the money. So I’m not sure what to think.

Amazon Shopper Panel

Probably one of the best apps I have downloaded because the income off this one is completely passive for me right now. I share my ad data with this app and they pay me £24 a year in Amazon vouchers. I literally don’t even need to open the app and I still get paid – love that! I did originally download this app for their receipt scanning function but this currently has a waitlist so I haven’t unlocked this income stream yet. For now, I’m happy with my £24 a year in passive income.
