OhMyDosh Review: Can you make money?

OhMyDosh is an easy and legit site to make some extra money on. You make money by completing various tasks such as starting free trials, signing up to survey sites and getting cashback at certain retailers. I got on well with OhMyDosh but it isn’t the most lucrative money making site out there. They do pay relatively quickly once you hit the £10 minimum. It just depends on when you complete the offers and how long they take to confirm. Payment is directly into your Paypal account, which is great.

PERKS OF OHMYDOSH?

The tasks are very easy

The sort of things you need to do on OhMyDosh are very simple and they don’t take long to complete. Most of the ones I have completed are as simple as signing up for various survey sites. It doesn’t require a lot of brain power or effort but if you sign up for any free trials make sure you set a reminder to cancel or you can guarantee a loss of your profits.

They offer high cashback rates

OhMyDosh have a wide range of offers available, such as cashback rates for loads of popular sites. Currently (Nov 2020) they are offering to name a few, 10% cashback at Shein and Look Fantastic as well as 5% at Boohoo among loads of other sites. This makes OhMyDosh a site worth checking before making a purchase to see whether you can get some money back.

Wide range of reward offers

You can currently earn £40 for taking out a Sim card contract with Three. This is just one among tens of utilities and technology offers on OhMyDosh! These are only worth it if you are in the market for the item. I would not recommend completing these just to complete and cash out because in the long term you will lose more money than you make.

DOWNSIDES OF OHMYDOSH?

Limited tasks to complete

Whilst there are loads of offers on OhMyDosh most are not worth completing unless you benefit from the offer, such as if you are already looking for a new sim card or are buying clothes on Boohoo. Personally I have been through the site and completed free offers that I am eligible to complete and have cashed out £25.20. Taking into account that this took maximum 2 hours to complete and minimal effort it’s a good rate. But unlike taking surveys this site is a one off if you are only in the market for free tasks.

Most of the tasks require you to spend money

This is the most annoying thing about OhMyDosh because it limits the amount you can make because some of the tasks need you to spend money but then the reward will only just cover the initial amount. It really makes it pointless to spend the time and money completing the tasks. However, some of the tasks that you need to spend on can be of value, such as some of the bingo offers. Further, not all of the tasks require an initial purchase so you will be able to reach the cash out minimum.

Overall, I think joining OhMyDosh is worth it especially because of the ongoing offers and the cashback opportunities. It is also a very easy way to make an extra £20-£30 within a short time period. Further, there are definitely more offers you can take advantage of if you’re willing to spend a little more up front!

Have you tried OhMyDosh? If so, how did it go? Did you manage to make more than me?
