LifePoints Review: Is the site legit?
LifePoints is a legit survey site where taking surveys earn you LifePoints which you can use to redeemed gift cards from various places, including PayPal and Ubereats. I have had some good luck with LifePoints and find it very lucrative for a survey site. It pays more on average than most survey sites and I find my earnings building up quickly. I signed up to LifePoints on July 10th and reached the minimum cashout within 6 surveys and redeemed my first £5 PayPal gift card. It’s been four months since then and I have made just over £70 on this site alone. PERKS OF LIFEPOINTS? Low time commitment Unlike some…

Prolific Review: Is it the best survey site?
Prolific is hands down the best survey site I have ever used! Forget earning pennies for half an hour of your time, studies on Prolific pay on average £7.50/hour – most of the time more! This is more than the current minimum wage for my age group! The site is very easy to navigate and refreshes itself so you don’t need to be on it at all times. Unfortunately because the site is so popular some of the studies fill their quotas very quickly, which can be annoying and feel like a missed opportunity. Yet there is always more studies on the way. PERKS OF PROLIFIC? You will hardly ever…

OhMyDosh Review: Can you make money?
OhMyDosh is an easy and legit site to make some extra money on. You make money by completing various tasks such as starting free trials, signing up to survey sites and getting cashback at certain retailers. Keep reading my OhMyDosh review to see how you can use the site to make a little money in your spare time! Overall, I like OhMyDosh but it isn’t the most lucrative money making site out there. They do pay relatively quickly once you hit the £10 minimum. It just depends on when you complete the offers and how long they take to confirm. Payment is directly into your Paypal account, which is great. …

5 Easy Ways to Save Money on Food At Uni
For most people, moving to uni is the first time they’ll do a food shop. Or if you’re like me and have done the food shop before, you probably haven’t actually paid attention to prices. Doing your own food shop can often be very eye opening. Food can be so expensive! Especially if you don’t pay attention to what you are buying or how much each item actually costs. After rent payments, food will most likely be your next biggest expense. Yet it is one area you can be super frugal on and keep it low. For context, my current food budget is £40 a month – which works out…

Do you need to take your car to uni?
Deciding whether or not to take my car to university was one of my biggest questions before I left. After months of discussion and debate I decided to sell my car. Not having a car has saved me a tonne of money over the last year but I can’t say that I don’t miss having one. If like me you are trying to make the decision here are some questions to ask yourself: Will you be moving away from home? This point is key because if you are moving away from home and into halls then you are less likely to need a car compared to if you’ll be commuting…

Travelling by bus is often the cheapest way to travel but it isn’t the most comfortable, hence below are my top five tips on how to survive long bus journeys. For the US I have seen good things about Megabus but have never tried them myself. Wear Layers Layers are your absolute best friend on long bus journeys! Buses often go from being really stuffy and uncomfortable to arctic cold in minutes…. It’s crazy! I try to wear an outfit that allows me to decide how much I’m…

5 Places at the top of my Bucket List
My bucket list nowadays is vaguely reminiscent of a list of all the countries in the world 🙂 I spend way too much time on Pinterest reading travel guides from places all over the world both obscure and well known, adding to my bucket list. Yet there are still those places that are ahead of the rest, ones I long to visit and should hopefully be able to soon. Below are five places at the top of my list… BALI, INDONESIA Bali and Indonesia on the whole have been at the top of my bucket list for as long as I can remember. My sister and I have always talked…
