5 Places at the top of my Bucket List
My bucket list nowadays is vaguely reminiscent of a list of all the countries in the world 🙂 I spend way too much time on Pinterest reading travel guides from places all over the world both obscure and well known, adding to my bucket list. Yet there are still those places that are ahead of the rest, ones I long to visit and should hopefully be able to soon. Below are five places at the top of my list…
BALI, INDONESIA
Bali and Indonesia on the whole have been at the top of my bucket list for as long as I can remember. My sister and I have always talked about going on a trip here, hopefully we’ll get to go in July 2022!
It’s not only on my bucket list because its all-over social media (it does look insane though doesn’t it?) but it’s genuinely quite a cheap place to travel to… the biggest cost for me being the flight all the way from the UK. I’ve already been looking and planning (obsessed I know) but I’ve found some incredible hostels to stay in for under £5 a night! YES! You’ve read that right FIVE POUNDS A NIGHT!!
CAPPADOCIA, TURKEY
Have you seen pictures of this place?? MAGICAL! I’ve been to Turkey before but only on package holidays where we never left the hotel (Oh how my idea of a holiday has changed :)) I feel like I haven’t actually seen any of Turkey… literally could have been anywhere!
Sometime in the future, I would love to go back to Turkey and actually SEE the country; the city of Istanbul, the ancient ruins at Ephesus and of course Cappadocia! This place looks amazing!

VIENNA, AUSTRIA
Vienna looks so beautiful, the perfect mix of city living and nature. I have a soft spot for cute trendy cafes and Vienna is full of them. Making it the perfect place to hole up for a while.
Christmas markets in Vienna are supposedly some of the best in Europe. Although I imagine summer in Vienna would also be beautiful! Maybe I’ll get to go in both seasons 🙂
LISBON, PORTUGAL
How chic and cool does Lisbon look? Both Lisbon and Porto have been on my bucket list for ages, but Lisbon is very slightly higher on the list. The beautiful architecture, the trendy café culture and the UNSECO heritage site on its doorstep are some of the reasons why I’m dying to visit Lisbon.
I am hoping to plan a trip to Lisbon pretty soon, a girls weekend with some of my favourite people. Plus, there is a café that exclusively sells chocolate cake, deemed the best chocolate cake IN THE WORLD! Automatically jumps to the top of my bucket list!
SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA
Incredible street food, a dog café and have you seen the COEX library? Needless to say, Seoul is very high on my bucket list. This city sounds amazing! If I am lucky enough to get to go I hope to visit other places in South Korea, such as Jeju, Busan and the Suncheon area.
These are just a few of the places on my list! What’s at the top of your bucket list?
