WeAre8 – The App That Will Pay You To Watch Ads

WeAre8 is an app that pays you to watch ads and answer multiple choice questions about them. Yes, it’s legit and pays out real cash. From my experience the ads pay anything from 2-25p each and you get offered around 10-20 ads per month. So by no stretch of the imagination will this app make you rich but it is a legit way to make a little extra income. And it takes literal seconds to complete and hardly any effort at all. We watch a tonne of ads daily for free, you might as well get paid to watch a couple extra.

I downloaded this app a couple years ago but didn’t really get into using it until a few months ago. I kinda forgot all about it until I saw it mentioned again on insta. And now it’s a solid step in my morning side hustle routine and I’ve cashed out £4.38 since and have £1.20 pending. Plus they’ve donated 68p on my behalf.

Wait how exactly does this work?

The first step is to download the app and make an account. Once your account is set up you can get started. Every time there is an ad ready to watch, the top banner on the app will turn yellow. Clicking on it will take you to an offer page where it will tell you how much you will get paid and who the ad is presented by. You can then accept the ad. After accepting, the ad will automatically play and then once finished you will be asked some questions. The questions always seem to be multiple choice but range from 1 question to 5. Once you’ve answered all the questions asked, you just have to wait for the payment to change from pending to completed and then you can withdraw the money.

Do you really get paid?

Yes! It is a little slow going because you have to wait 30 days after you watch each ad for it to change from pending to complete and be added to your available balance. Plus you have to wait for your available balance to hit £1 before you can withdraw to Paypal. So it’s a little slow going at the start but once you get into a routine the process doesn’t seem so tedious.

My go to cash out choice will always be cash, usually via Paypal. But WeAre8 also has the option of redeeming your earnings against your phone bill (only if you are with EE) or donating your earnings to charity. Payments typically take a couple days to hit your account once you cash out.
