Branded Surveys Review: Is it worth your time?

Branded Surveys was the first survey site that I used and actually made money on. This means I don’t want to give up using it even though it isn’t the best site out there. Whilst it may take longer than other sites, you can still make some money using this survey provider. Further some of the surveys will take you onto bigger and better things. Like a 2 day evaluation of a new series I qualified for from a survey on Branded Surveys, which paid £45.

Although I’m not checking this site now as much as I did when I first started taking surveys, I still use it from time to time. Tending to just go on and answer a few surveys when other sites I use dry up. However, when I first started using it I reached the minimum cashout 3 times in the first month, making £25.42 from this site alone. Hence, it is better than some of the earlier survey sites I tried, where I only made pennies.

PERKS OF BRANDED SURVEYS?

Interesting surveys

As the name of the site suggests, the surveys on here are from brands, often well known ones. Hence, this makes for actually interesting questions and things to offer your opinion on. It is also nice to know that you may have an effect on these brands and the products they later release.

They have a daily poll

Answering this daily is an easy win! You will only get 5 points for every poll that you answer, so I obviously do not recommend only answering these as it will take 200 days until you can cash out, but they are a nice bonus.

DOWNSIDES OF BRANDED SURVEYS?

It’s an American site

Simply a downside because the points earned on this site equate to dollars. Meaning that 1000 points (which is the minimum cashout) varies in its value depending on the current exchange rate. This is a very nitpicky downside of the site but it will slightly affect your earnings. If you aren’t in the US or use a currency other than US Dollars this can be annoying.

High cashout minimum

On Branded Surveys, the minimum cashout is 1000 points (the equivalent of $10). This is high in comparison to other survey sites, such as Prolific and LifePoints, where the minimum is £5. Simply put this means it takes longer and more surveys to actually see any money made from this site. It may be worth spending more time on the higher paid sites than trying to reach the minimum on this site.

High screen out rate

Screening out is the worst thing about taking surveys. It makes using some of these sites annoying and a waste of time. Surveys on Branded Surveys seem to screen me out more often than on other sites. Which makes it one of my least favourite sites to answer surveys on.

Low payments for each survey

It is very rare to be offered more than 100 points for a survey on Branded Surveys. Meaning that the surveys you’re answering, pay less than a dollar (~75p). It makes it not worth answering surveys on here, when they’re survey sites out there that pay more than minimum wage on average. As you can see on the screenshot above, the surveys offered this morning all pay less than 50 cents. The one that supposedly takes 5 minutes pays 23 points which is approx. 17p. This equates to an hourly rate of £2.04, which is a waste of time!

Overall, whilst I don’t think Branded Surveys is the best survey site out there, it is by no means the worse. There is money to be made and the site is very easy to navigate and use. Hence, I would recommend it but not as a primary site, it makes a good secondary site to use when others have no new surveys to offer you.
