I Read 159 Books in 2023 – Here’s How I Became A Fast Reader
2023 was by far my best year of reading since I left high school. I was able to finish 159 books over the year, smashing my original 100 books goal. Plus I didn’t really read for 4 whole months in 2023 due to work commitments. Being on a gap year meant I finally felt like I had the time to dedicate to my favourite hobby. And going forward I want to continue making it a daily priority and habit to read. 159 books might sound absolutely insane to you and I admit writing that total down is a little insane. It means that on average I finished one book every…

9 Big Goals I Want To Achieve In 2024
Setting yearly goals has been something I’ve done consistently for the past 4 years and 2024 is no different! I’ve set around 30 goals that I want to achieve over the next year but they can be narrowed down to these 9 main goals… READ 100 BOOKS I set the same goal last year and ended the year on 159 books finished. I did consider upping my reading target for 2024. However I foresee this year being a little bit busier than last year so I’m sticking strong at 100 books. That’s an average of 8 books a month which sounds incredibly doable. TRAVEL TO 10 NEW COUNTRIES I have…

For context – I turn 30 in just over 8 years (I’ll be 22 in June ’23) so I’ve kinda gone wild with this list. I know the likeliness that I achieve all these things is low but it’s not impossible so I’m aiming high! In no particular order (simply how they came to mind) here are…

Personal Finance Journey – How I Saved £34k in 3 Years
Whilst I have always been a natural saver, I didn’t really get into personal finance until I started university three years ago. I was supposed to study abroad for my second year and found out I needed to prove I had access to £18k to get a visa. At this point I had zero pounds left in my savings, a part-time job and just eight short months to sort it out. Enter the personal finance community! I became frugal, got intentional about my spending and began side hustling. 6 months later I had over £8k in the bank and that combined with my upcoming maintenance loan, I had enough to…
