TodayTix App: The Best Way To Get Cheap Show Tickets

Have you heard of the TodayTix app before? If you love shows and musicals THIS is the app for you!

I swear by TodayTix when I looking to see a show but not break the bank! I’ve used this app multiple times over the years, mostly to bag a rush ticket, and have saved hundreds on excellent seats.

Some of the tickets I’ve redeemed:

• Second row tickets to see SIX – TWICE for just £25 each time
• Front row tickets to Heathers – only £25
• Tickets for the Book of Mormon – only £20
• Second row ticket to &Juliet – only $49

My secret? Rush tickets!

What are rush tickets?

Rush tickets are last-minute, deeply discounted seats, often with limited or “partial view” locations, offered by theatres on the day of a performance on a first-come, first-served basis. Apps like TodayTix offer rush tickets usually at 10am on the day of the performance and these tickets sell out in seconds.

You can get up to 2 tickets through rush and get to see the seats before buying them. Look out for the Rush Tickets promos on the TodayTix app to see which musicals offering them and what time you need to be on the app to get them.

I’ve used the TodayTix app to bag rush tickets for both West End and Broadway shows and find the app super easy to use. Rush tickets will sell out in seconds so you have to be on the app ready to go a couple of minutes before they open, clicking the purchase button to be within the chances of getting tickets.

I found it was much harder to get SIX tickets for the West End than it was to get a rush ticket to &Juliet on Broadway. Plus the price on the TodayTix app was much better than the last minute ticket stand in Times Square.

Other tickets

Now rush tickets aren’t the only type offered on the TodayTix app and you can bag a really good deal with normal tickets too. I often see cheap tickets if you book well in advanced through the app. Plus they will run discounts and promos throughout the year too.

Lottery tickets are also another great figure of the TodayTix app which I’ve been trying my luck at for the past couple of weeks but to no success yet. My goal is to bag a £10 lottery ticket to see Hamilton – keep your fingers crossed for me!
