Day Three Halloween Hustle Challenge: Paid to Play Games
Day three of the challenge and I’ve broken my streak already! Oh well, progress is progress and some days will be higher than others. I still made £18.84 on day three of my Halloween Hustle challenge so let’s break it down. Here’s how I get paid to play games…

What is the Halloween Hustle Challenge?
Before we get into how much I made on Day Three, let me first recap what exactly the Halloween Hustle Challenge is. I’m a little behind on my 2025 side hustle goals so need a boost and as a goal motivated person, a side hustle challenge was the best solution. Enter my Halloween Hustle Challenge.
I am challenging myself to make £31 every day in the month of October so for 31 days straight. This works out to £961 but I’m secretly hoping I will smash this goal and make more.
The plan is to make £31 a day from easy online side hustles like surveys, market research, playing games and get-paid-to offers. I will be sharing daily updates to stay accountable and maybe inspire you to join in and make a little extra money before Halloween.
Ok now we are all caught up, let’s get into my Day Three recap.
Day Three = £18.84
Day three started super slow as nothing was coming through on Prolific or other survey sites I check. But Swagbucks to the rescue… in the form of a sign up bonus for FreeCash. I’ve heard lots about Free Cash as a way to get paid to play games but hadn’t signed up so this was the perfect time.

FreeCash offer = £15.78
This site is similar to Swagbucks in that it’s a GPT site that rewards you for answering surveys, playing games and completing discover offers. I’ve seen great things on Reddit about its game offers so this challenge is the perfect time to give on a go. Plus by signing up via Swagbucks I will be getting an additional 1020SB/£7.50 once I cash out for the first time.
I followed the link, created an account and went on the hunt for a good game offer to complete. I found this one and after a quick google to see if it was possible, got cracking.

Family Farm Adventure was the game I went for as it was offering £375 in total rewards for what seems like reasonable goals. As a new user to FreeCash I got an £8 bonus for downloading and opening my first game through the site plus I got 28p for answering some profile questions.
Sign up to FreeCash with this link and get a £4 bonus when you download your first game!
I have 50 days to complete this offer and make the £375 by hitting various benchmarks. This isn’t my first game offer so I know completing it is often impossible but I’m hoping to cash out a chunk of cash from this offer. I’ll keep you updated.
Double Bubble Bingo = £1
Remember this site from day one of the challenge? Well I’ve been logging in everyday for their free game and actually won £1 on day three. Unfortunately, they have a £10 cash out minimum. So my plan is to keep playing the free games. Let’s see how long it takes me to get to £10.
Tapjoy on Swagbucks = £2.06
I like checking the Tapjoy page on Swagbucks as you can often find easy wins on there. These really do boost your SB balance. On day three of the challenge I did a few offers, one of which was signing up for Ipsos Say survey site, and made £2.06 for my efforts.
£1.30 of this came directly from surveys completed via Ipsos Say and I’ll keep dabbling on this site until I get a payout.
Other things to note
I spent a little bit of time on day three logging into a few of my favourite market research platforms and applying to whatever I could find. In the end I applied to over 35 studies and 1 has already confirmed. This is a 30-minute call for a £25 reward on the topic of food delivery apps. Winner.
I’ll be counting this £25 reward towards the challenge total after I’ve done the call. And I’m hoping a few more come through too. That would be a great boost to the challenge.
The Final Figures
I fell a little short of my £31 goal on day three, only making a confirmed £18.84 but I’m happy with the other offers I set in motion. Progress is progress, and each penny made in this challenge is a penny more than I had so win!
Challenge Update
So broke my streak with day three but still made £18.84. Plus I’ve lined up nearly £400 worth of potential money on the table to grab. Oh and for those wondering, I didn’t win the EuroMillions from my tickets yesterday. Sad times.
Check out my previous updates here…
Day One = £45.13
Day Two = £31.01
Day Three = £18.84
Halloween Hustle Total = £94.98
Nearly £100 in extra income over a few days… now that’s like a bonus holiday for me! Excited about the rest of the challenge and hope you’re finding these updates valuable. What’s your favourite online side hustle?
